Cask handpull at Evening Star, Brighton. Amber, lasting beige head. Moderate aromatic hop, bit of smoke. Fruity in mouth. Bit underdeveloped. Rich malt and tehn grassy strongish hop. Bit dusty too. Bit of spice. Oddly cobbled together beer, nutmeg on finish? Not sure it all works.

Bottle, along with the Molings beer I picked this up for 99p at the ’Dodgy Deli’ on the Cowley Road 20-09-06. Sweet but also very fruity and floral nose to this beer which poured a pale golden colour a little bit on the fizzy side. Tasted very fresh with a fruitiness to it again with nice subtle lemony and citric flavours pushing through and hops in evidence I rather liked this beer.
