(Cask at Bree Louise, Euston, London, 1 Dec 2007) Golden yellow colour with big, frothy, white head. Fruity, floral nose with lemon and fresh, grassy hops . Fruity taste with notes of citrus (lemon) and decent amounts of grassy, citrussy hops in the finish. Fairly light body, but with a nice citrussy, hop character.

Cask at Oxford Beer Festival 11-10-07 Poured a real pale golden colour, in fact a very light colour. Aroma was surprisingly sulphurous in fact really quite eggy indeed. There was a real flurry of hops initially the bitterness didn’t show immediately, rather like the dog lying in wait for the postman it bit when you thought you were home and dry and had got to the gate, the resulting bitter bite then hung around for a while. This was a very good beer but not quite what I expected.
