750 ml bottle. Pours a deep caramel/copper color with a medium white head, some gushing. A big sweet nose of caramel and sugar. The flavor of candy sugar and beet sugar is massive, light spices, way too much sweetness. Not hot. Decent.

Opaque brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Slightly soft palate, a little dry. Fruit salad sweets amongst the creamy malt. A little coca cola. Pinch of spice. Trace of nuts - mostly almond. Interesting tasty beer!

Bomber. Pours a cloudy orange color with a large white head. An odd fruity nose, lots of pear. The flavor is crisp, tripel yeast, fruity, dry at times, pear, sake, passionfruit, no tartness, finishes clean and tasty.

This has got to be one of the better fest beers I’ve ever had. It was great right from the start. However, I never would have guessed this was an octoberfest, heheh. This is just a simple great easy to enjoy mild brown beer with lots of manners. I really liked it. Of the 10 beers I tasted tonight this was the best far and wide. Yes, think about a nice american dark lager and really mild and friendly porter. Good from start to finish, lovely vacation from a bunch of beers that were trying to be something. Really fun overall impact and finish.

Etwas trockener Beginn, dunkles Getreide, unscheinbar. Bis in den Mittelteil mild, erst spät intensiver werdend, flach. Geringe Intensität. Im Nachgeschmack etwas bitter. Etwas enttäuschend. 12/9/8/10/7/9

Opaque black - brown beer, tan head. Dark malt and dark chocolate nose with an unfortunate whiff of paint. Light palate with moderate carbonation. Taste follows the nose and that includes that emulsion paint tone that some barrel aged beers suffer from. A little bourbon underneath but the paint overwhelms and I didn’t enjoy this at all.

Sample at Kurt’s 49th birthday party. Blackish pour with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of coffee, oak and chocolate. Full-bodied with an oaky character and notes of bourbon, dark chocolate and malt. The finish is roasty and malty with a midly bitter coffee aftertaste. Above average overall.

WAY too carbonated. Spicey like asparagus. too dark for a belgian white, the flavors dont mesh well at all. more vegetable flavor than the traditional orange or coriandor. not great.
