Deep amber, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, yellowish head.
Aroma of grains, citrus, lime, some grass, sweet malts.
Taste with about the same aromas, but with less grain, more citrus notes and some pine.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes moderate bitter, citric, piney, a bit grassy, slightly grainy.
Nice one. Fresh, fruity and easy to drink. The nose is a bit boring, while the taste has very nice citrus notes. Good example of this style.

Aroma of lemongrass, apples, pears, slight barnyard, spices, sweet bread, yeast.
Tastes of citrus, lemongrass, red apples, pears, some banana, yeast, bread, spices, slight vanilla.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation.
Finishes quite dry, yeasty, sweet-sour fruity, bready.
Tasty. A very satisfying, fresh Saison. Especially the taste has a great balance between drinkability and complexity. Very good example of this style.

Taste follows this pretty much.
Quite light, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, zesty, grassy, fruity, a bit malty.
Very nice. Fresh, very fruity and easy to drink. A quite perfect Wheat Ale, great for a hot day.

Bouteille 50cl @ Il Pretesto, Bologna, BB 12/2014, lotto# L13055. Gusher alert! Cuivrée sur un col très actif, indiquant un signe de refermentation et sucre résiduel. Col blanc-cassé. Arôme est agréablement fleuri noir rappelant la figue, malt caramel, pâle et Munich? Palais est malté caramel moyen, léger grillé sur un fruité modéré noir. Petite touche d’amertume en fin de bouche avec un rappel de houblons nobles. Le palais reste correcte ne semblant pas être impacté par cette surabondance de mousse.

Draft sample @ Fiera della Birra, Cesena ’14. Dorée trouble paille, col fin blanc. Arôme est fruité rappelant pas mal les agrumes, malté moyen sur un caractère rustique très belge et une petite touche levure laissant qcq notes lactique. Palais garde une levure finement aigrelette, petit côté rustique pour une petite touche poivrée. Possible agrumes - Pompia qui offre ce profil amer, citronnelle avec une pointe tournant vers le fumé très subtil. Saison à l’italienne, et un changement du caractère belge.

Draft sample @ Fiera della Birra, Cesena ’14. Superbe étiquette. Ambrée, col fin blanc-cassé. Arôme est fruité sur un bouquet léger de bergamote offrant un citronné plaisant et fin, feuillu odorant. Légères effluves d’agrumes et de tropical. Palais est fruité prenant, tropical rappelant la mandarine avec un côté bergamote un peu plus discret - dommage. L’ajout d’écorce reste quant à lui également un peu trop discret. Le caractère malt reste centré sur le pâle et cara. Avec un abv si peu élevé, l’ajout bergamote et écorce plus prononcé aurait donné une dimension autre. Reste très correcte.

Draft sample @ Fiera della Birra, Cesena ’14. From what I gather this will become the new version with new hop bill. Dorée, léger orangé, col blanc-cassé. Arôme offre un bouquet houblonné très prononcé, nettement plus que la version normale. Galaxy et Nelson trouvent vraiment bien leur place sans pour cela briller de trop, le rétro-nasal reste un peu centré sur les malts. Palais est houblonné, offrant une amertume plaisante sur ds pointes de tropical et un profil Nelson particulièrement bien présent. Malt léger restant sur un léger cara pâle, je pense que cette bière fonctionnerai mieux en IPA que APA.

Draft @ XI Comandamento, Ferrara. Dorée-orangée, col fin blanc cassé. Arôme est agréablement fruité-agrumes assez frais, malt-grains allant vers le pâle avec un rétro-nasal herbacé et fleuri laissant un fini subtile de citronné. Palais est malté, houblonné agréable utilisant ici ces nouveaux houblons zélandais qui pour moi restant plus dans une approche noble. Le profil vert frais de houblons est bien là. J’attendais un peu plus des houblons, note de grains au fini avec un aspect feuilles de thé vertes. Fini amer-épicé suivi d’un malté léger.

Draft @ XI Comandamento, Ferrara. Couleur orangée-ambrée sur un léger trouble, col jaunâtre-blanc cassé. Arôem est agréable, chargé de notes de pin sur un côté résineux et fruité. Pointe tropicale et des effluves sortant directement suc de houblons frais. Malt de caractère pâle-caramel. Palais offre un profond profil pin avec une rondeur de bouche assez épaisse. Amertume tirant sur les agrumes avec une petit pointe de sève - résineux. Fruité pamplemousse, léger côté simcoe-centennial et columbus. Fini un peu sec et terreux, note de grains pour une amertume fleuri en fin de bouche.Je note aussi une pointe de douceur arrivant en retrait qui accompagne bien l’amertume des houblons.
