My memories were to vague to rate ( plus by the time i remembered i had drank this beer already, i learned its not ok to rate from memorie , i remember it reminded me a lot of karmeliet . So now , 3 y later , anotger bottle shall go open ! Pours very clear, yellow , big fine white foam Small amounts of rising bubbles . Smell is grainy , but so unintence , im not sure about that Soapy, too .. Weird ! Small carbo , nice ! Sweet , in a chemical , ’ made ’ way . Perfume , as i call it . Also grainy , maybe that was what brought karmeliet to mind . It tastes totaly diffrent , though ! Drinkable , but to ’ perfumed’ to me . Plus i do hate that ugly ass glass !

Bottle. An unclear, golden beer topped by a finger-thick off-white head. Spiced, biscuity aroma with cardamom and some notes of caramel. The flavor walks the same path, a little spiced, cardamom touch, and biscuity malts as a foundation. Caramel hints. Full-bodied and sweet on the palate, finishing with a lasting spice flavor. Perhaps a bit too spiced this one, but done quite cleverly and it’s sure a tasteful beer. At least in small quantities. 120525

Pale blond with thick, lumpy head. Aroma is a bit grassy and has some hop notes too. Taste is fresh and quite crisp. Has a long dry,hoppy finish.

Bottle shared by Countbeer at minitasting. Very hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell malts, lightly a sour hint, lightly herbs or spices. Taste malts, decently bitter, slightly herbs or spices. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad.

Das Kempisch Vuur Tripel ist wohl ein schön durchkomponiertes Bier, aber bei der Auswahl an Tripel-Bieren, kann man es sich erlaube heikel zu sein. Es hat eine goldene Farbe und einen grasig-bitteren Körper, dazu kommt ein angenehm würziger Abgang. Ein gut zu trinkendes Einsteiger-Tripel mit interessanten, aber moderaten Aromen.

Das BIer habe ich anno dazumals getrunken, ohne zu wissen, dass Jenever (meist Genever geschrieben) ein holländischer Gin ist. Meine Erfahrungen mit Gin-Bier waren bislang immer negativ, da die Aromen einfach nicht miteinander konnten. Dieses Bier hat mir aber recht gut geschmeckt, da es keinen Gin sondern nur einige Wacholderbeeren im Sud hatte, die einen angnehm würzigen Beigeschmack gaben, ohne aber eine bissige neue Geschmacksnote in das Bier reinzuhauen. So werden durch den leicht erfrischenden Geschmack sehr schön die Blonde-Aromen unterstützt, ohne sie zu bekämpfen. Ein aromenreiches und doch erfrischendes Bier, das auf jeden Fall nicht langweilig ist.

Dieses Haferstout habe ich vor einigen Jahren in einer meiner Lieblingsbars, dem Känguru getrunken. Leider steht es derzeit nicht (mehr) auf der Karte. Es ist ein blickdichtes Stout, das nicht nur klassische Röstmalz und Malzuckeraromen hat, sondern diese auch schön mit getreidigen Aromen à la Haferflocken und Cornflakes verknüpft. Dahinter eine leichte Hopfung, die die gesamte Bitterkeit wunderbar abrundet. Ein wirklich schönes Bier.
