Bottle. Tastes like a slightly darker and less drinkable Leffe Blond. Sweet, yeasty, fruity, spicy. Nothing exciting here.

750ml bottle. Paid $7.99 at Gary’s Beverage, Portsmouth, NH. Slightly hazy golden pour, huge head. Coats the snifter with tons of lace, nice eye appeal. Some faint bread, biscuit and a Champagne like notes in the smell. Sweet taste with malt base with lots of fruity and spiced flavors resembling the smell. There is also a touch of grape. Quite a bit of hops but without any bitterness. Fairly complex in flavor. Lively carbonation makes a tingle on the tongue with a dry finish. Very interesting, a nice brew to sip. I did enjoy this.

Originally rated December 2007. Best before date on bottom of the can is 23-05-2008. Pours a light yellow colour with a small slightly-creamy white head. Uneven carbonation and mild lacing. The smell at first is a good malty scent, but after a few seconds of breathing, this beer smells metallic. This is also apparent in the taste mildly. But overall, has that pilsner flavour. Refreshing when cold, but that is about it for this one.

Bottle from Skjold Burne. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are yeast, alcohol, fruits and malt. Not very balanced and way too one dimensional with alcohol. The bottle I had was 10% abv.
