Black color with small but creamy head. Very interesting aroma, of fruity hops and spicy yeast, with tones of cheese rind (toma/tomme). The mouthfeel is soft, somehow round, but quite lean too; good flavor of dark caramel, with loads of nice hop resins, but reduced bitterness; it still has a nice fruity touch; some light roastiness and liquorice in the final, and light alcohol presence.
Clearly aged, but it develops a nice alternative.

The color is now very dark, between dark brown and black; it has a small creamy head. Good aroma of caramel and roasted malts, some hop resins and an evident cheesy touch. Good body, round; good caramel flavor, with limited residual sweetness; the bitterness is fading, there is still some resins and hop aromas, but complemented by a rising touch of liquorice. Still a good and solid beer, even if the signs of age are evident.

Hazy mahogany color; creamy head. The aroma is wonderful, with mild resiny and fruity hops, very persistent. It has a caramel flavor, some sweetness, strong body; light liquorice (probably a sign of age); most of all, it has a very interesting spice profile (ginger, coriander, pepper, …). With the ageing it lost some freshness (the flavor bur not the aroma), but it has more complexity. Excellent

Hazy dark amber color; medium head. Very good aroma, mix of caramel and fruity hop. Strong body, strong caramel flavor, good hopping, not extreme but well aromatic, with good sweetness, and some resins.

Hazy red amber color; huge head. Nice earthy hops aroma, perfumy. The body has a medium strength, with some quite good caramel flavor; the hop, now old, is creating some astringent feeling in the final, also together with sme yeast. The bitterness is still respectable. It’s not much aromatic, but it’s still good.

Hazy blond color; high carbonation, huge head. Quite strong hop aroma, now a bit sweaty and earthy too. Dry toffee flavor, very dry, with an Orval-like astringency, and very bitter, with some bitter oranges fruitness. Still pleasant, even if not fragrant.

Hazy golden color; medium head, compact. Strong hop aroma, grassy, hop cones. Dry and lean mouthfeel, not much malt but strong bitterness, quite aromatic (continental hops), but too much bitter at the end, unbalanced.

Beautiful red-amber color.; creamy head. Nice fruity aroma, almost a Weisse, with some banana, chewing-gum. Good body strength, some sweetness, still too young, again a light Weizen impression. Rough.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours completely opaque black with a small light brown head. Distinct fat Bamberg smoke in the nose. Medium body, a little low in carbonation, chocolate malts again with a distinct smokiness. The finish is dry with a subdued bitterness. 260309

scura buona schiuma piuttosto persistente al naso subito luppoli invitante poi si avvertono le note maltate caramello in bocca buon corpo il luppolo lo fa da padrone quasi balsamico ma l’apporto maltato non la fa sentire così amara per gli amanti del luppolo

oro schiuma medi apiuttosto persistente note maltate leggermente etiliche speziate in bocca malto spezie ma bevuta forse ad una temperatura troppo elevata ma da riassaggiare naso fruttato anche il retrogusto è fruttato il abbastanza bilanciatata
