Volume 1: Galaxy, Amarillo, Mosaic Very crisp and clear strong amber and light brown coloured body with a thick, three to four centimetre tall, creamy tan head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of strong nuts, earth and toffee, with some caramelised sugars around, but also some bright floral and piney hops that seem to have a good dose of bitterness, too. Medium to Full-bodied; Rich nutty, earthy and floral notes show at first with a surprising amount of sugars here, but also some nuts with a rustic flavour, but then a lot of of hops and bitterness come out, with the grassy, piney and even grapefruity flavours showing with a lot of alpha acid bitterness. Aftertaste is very crisp, dry, pungent and robust, with the bitter hops the strongest, but a great layer of sweetness, malts and especially nutty and earthy qualities here. Overall, a nice almost Imperial IAP that tastes like either an extra hoppy brown ale or a super nutty East Coast IPA, but either way, it works well, if that's what you're expecting, at least! Great to sample before heading off on Spring Break 2022 to Hawai`i with my wife and kids! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Beverage in Thornton, Colorado on 30-January-2022 for US$4,37 sampled at my house here in Washington on 09-April-2022 before leaving for Kahului, Maui, Hawai`i with my wife and three kids!

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is caramel malt with some fruity ester. Flavor is sugar covered orange slices with some English malt and a bit of ester from the yeast. No alcohol is felt and the finish is sweet. Decent darker saison but a tad too sweet.

12oz can pours a murky dark brown with some cloudy, beige head. Nose has malt and licorice and molasses and some cola. Flavor has licorice and tootsie roll, malt, cola, pumpernickel. Just off dry finish.

From Beer Drop. No dating on the can.
Pours a clear amber red with a small and receding head of foam. It does persist throughout the session.
I get aromas of various spices, cloves, yes curry as I eat curry often. Figs, and something pungent.
Taste wise, I get curry, though it is not that sweet, cloves, figs and some roasted malt.
Decent mouthfeel, a different kettle of fish here that I enjoyed.

Can from the brewery - pours a turbid amber with no head to speak of - doesn’t look at that great - kind of flat and lifeless in the mouth - syrupy texture - flavor is a bit messy - sugar, bubble gum, plums, spicy and almost medicinal alcohol, kinda finishing like cough syrup - sorry, Diebolt - I love y’all, but you dropped the ball on this one - a hot mess.

Pint at the brewery - dark amber, nearly black - flavors of caramelized sugars, chocolate, vanilla, blueberry - some tobacco and hop bitterness through the middle - overall, rich but clean - nice to see a true lagered Baltic made in the states, as most marketed as such are just ales that drink like failed imperial stouts.
