Nose is green bright vegetable watermelon peel & strange but pleasant vegetable sweetness. low golden malt taste, little beer taste but great refreshing green watermelon finish that really does it for me, lively, faint watermelon green sour, really refreshing, surprisingly pleasant fruit beer.

330 ml. bottle. BBF 21/04/2018. Hazy touch dark orange, creamy white head. Nose is strangely sweet with some candy, sweet bread, strawberry jam, almost caramel. Taste is caramel, cheap white sugar strawberry jam, sweet bread, caramel,… Body is thinner, cheap jam,… Strange really not what I expected but strangely pleasing to some extent.

Nose is strange watery metallic, massively green coffee,… Empty except for the green coffee, green grass, thin,… Watery, green, bit metallic,… Strange, coffee is very green, base is weak for me, peculiar.

Nose is bit metallic, stale bready malts,… Taste is strange stale bitter bread, malt, bitter leaves, roast almost, bitter plants, herbal, dark bread,… Body is thick weird thinner bodied dark bread, bit metallic,… Strange beer, didn’t quite get it.

330 ml. bottle. BBF 31/1/2018. Nuts I just bought this one. Golden hazy, low rising bubbles, soapy white head. Nose is low candy white grape, soapy, banana, yeast, sugar,… Taste is oddly sweet, white grape candy, fizzy thin, some BE flourish, plant bitter, strange weed bitter,.. Empty & fizzy but yeah also expired. Still manageable.

Clear orange beer, big creamy beige head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, sweet, caramel, some candy smell. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sourish, some lemon juice, bitter grapefruit peel, very bitter. Aftertaste: citrus, bit sourish, grassy touch, bitter, resinous finish. Not as good as I would've hoped for.

Taste: bitter start, hoppy, some caramel malts, dried fruits, some banana peel. Aftertaste: chocolate notes, bit sourish, somewhat oxidized, more roast, almost porter-like, not bad!

Bodney Towers bottle share. Thanks to Leighton. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Thin dark malts, good dark chocolate. Mild spice. Trace of vanilla. Light dry spicy finish. Decent without ever being in danger of being anything special

F: huge, light tanned, long lasting. C: dark brown with red hue against the light. A: dark malts, a lot of coffee, cocoa, mellow dark fruits, caramel. T: dark malts, roasted tones, coffee, chocolate, dark fruits, dark caramel, dry on the palate, very nice coffee tones without astringency, full body, low to medium carbonation, bit warming alcohol, very good, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Bierwinkel De Hopduvel in Gent.
