Description

Bottle shared in London with Lyoli - sourced from Ales by Mail. Pours lightly hazy gold-brown with a creamy off-white head. The aroma holds toasty biscuits, bread, berries, Belgian yeast. Medium sweet flavor with plenty of bready malts, some toffee, banana, bubblegum, faint alcohol, toasted biscuits. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, some chewy malts, more bread and toffee, candi sugar, minimal bitterness. Not bad overall, although there’s minimal honey character.

Bottle shared in London - sourced from Ales by Mail. Pours deep brown with a frothy beige head. The nose has so e dark fruits, subtle cocoa, mild roast. Medium sweet flavor with further dark fruits, prunes, raisins, faint chocolate. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation and velvety texture. Nicely balanced on the finish, lots more ripe dark fruits, raisins, prunes, fruitcake, bread, slight cocoa. Really tasty overall. Not very ’stouty’, but quite good stuff nonetheless.

Dark blond colour with lasting lacy head. A balanced blond beer with a dry and bitter finish. Good session beer but offers little more than a good pilsener.
