Deadication beer to Czech composer Julius Fucik, who was born on this day and his compositions are still played as patriotic music in Czechia. The composition of this pilsner is pretty good in terms of style, it has a very 'Czech' taste and is easy in the palate, however as a brew it's pretty bland. Golden-blonde colour.

A 330ml bottle from Morrison's in Scotland. Pours a amber with a large foamy head. High carbonation level. Aromas & tastes of citrus, grapefruit, pine & mineral. Dry mildly bitter finish. Really struggled with this one, carbonation was off the scale.

Old review from Feb 2017 - A 500ml bottle. It pour's a straw colour with a thin whitish head with some lacings. Aroma is caramel and straw malts, wet cardboard, light lemony citrus & floral hop. Light bodied & thin texture. Taste follows much of the aroma with some malty sweetness that leads to a mildly bitter finish.

I recognised a few people from the Skipton Beer Festival in this place after I'd left the Town Hall venue for it... Great minds!!!! Golden special, golden session almost, slightly heavy texture for that, hoppy taste but easy enough strength. It's not the first visit for me though here, it was a targeted stop off before the train back to West Yorkshire.

Cask öl på Biskoppensvapen Guustaf. Mjuk krämig öl med lite apelsintoner . Lite svagt svartpeppar och lakrits .Fins en jäst ton också . Såklart nästan ingen kolsyra . Är ju en rätt typisk cask

Cask at Vine, Wednesfield. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a medium sized foamy off-white head and good lacing. There’s floral hops and pepper in the aroma. In the mouth it is initially sweet but some underlying bitterness which gets larger. Flavour has lemon zind, floral hops and sweet grapefruit with hints of pine and spice coming through later. Finish is bitter and slightly dry. This is decent – the floral and citrus elements blend well with the bitterness.
