Overall Impression: It's an OK, not very exciting pale lager from Japan, straw colored, and boring, but sometimes you just have to order one with Asian food.

Bottle, at Copenhagen Beerfestival. A clear, slightly pale golden beer. Dms, grains and some hops in the aroma, not very good. Can’t say I like the flavor either, still dms and grains, and some hints of bitterness. Some bitterness in the finish too, still not much. Thin and dry mouthfeel. A poor beer, didn’t even find it quenching. (090517)

2009 Version. I think it is the same recipe. Nice, light amber color, orange tints. Looks good. Thick, foamy head. Aroma is basic Yebisu but with a bit more caramel and something slightly smoother. Palate also nicely smooth. Flavor has a bit of caramel sweetness, some depth. strong hop bitterness in the finish. Decent enough stuff, though not all that special.

Canned. Clear amber, rich head. Sourish and fruity. Light-mdeium bodied with plenty of tinny syrup. Some resiny hops are present, fur the most it’s stays meakly fruity and disharmonious.

Canned. Bright golden, airy head. The aroma has mostly a general fruitiness. It’s sweet and fruity with industrial limp mouthfeel and sloppy body. The very slight resiny hops cannot breathe life into this artificial product. Fruit and resin combines in a mushy unpleasant finish.
