At Gigantic we only do two things: make the best damn IPA in Portland, Oregon and produce seasonal, exciting, flavorful beers, most of which will be brewed only once. Our goal is simultaneously to create new interpretations of classic styles and to ignore those same style guidelines completely and brew whatever our creative natures produce.

On tap at Apex, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of espresso beans and light cocoa powder - but dominated by the espresso. Flavour is exactly the same, with loads of espresso beans that dominate. Very smooth powdery palate that drinks very easily. Never would've guessed that the base of this is a black saison - drinks more like a coffee porter. Solid stuff.

650 ml bottle. Pours a bright copper with very little head. Quite intense aromas of grapefruit and pine. Flavors are same. Northwest hops in abundance, light malts, yeast, and coriander. Very nice.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours very dark brown with a foamy/creamy dark tan head. Aroma of earthy chocolate. Med body more or less. Flavor is earthy chocolate. A chocolate saison? It sort of fits. It’s dry, dark, tasty. Definitely close to the edge.

Bottle. West coast piney and grassy aroma. Hazy golden, lacing low off-white head. Medium to light body. Grassy, leafy on a somewhat weak body, leaves on a earthy leafy note, metallic smoke in the background. Can’ say that I am overaved by the malt body. Still nice drink.

Bottle - Sweet hops with grapefruit and fruit. Clear amber with a rich thick head. Bitter but very nice and thick on the palate. Smells better than it tastes.
