Description
Weyerbacher Brewing was founded in 1995 in a livery stable located in downtown Easton, Pennsylvania. Eventually outgrowing that small space, we made the move to the 30,000 square foot facility that we still call home today.

Since the beginning, we have established a reputation for making big, full-flavored, high quality brews. While predominantly known for Belgian-style brews including Merry Monks and QUAD, we have an extensive barrel aging program which produces fan favorites including Insanity and Riserva. In recent years, we’ve dipped our toes into IPAs and other lower ABV styles with great success.

Experimenting with different ingredients and brewing techniques, our brewers continue to stretch their creative minds and develop interesting and mind blowing beers that will satisfy your taste for the extraordinary.

Amber with a fleeting, foamy head. Fairly subpar optically—fades into inertness. Aroma is a mix of cranberries, pineapple and banana. Not picking up the ginger. Taste is not bad, with a mild berry tartness dominating most of the way through. A touch of sweetness at the end. Medium bodied, low carbonation, probably too low. Okay.

Basically just another strong sweet stop. I don't pick up any of the bacon that it supposedly has, is a slight medicinal finish and body is a touch thin. Also only pick up the alcohol at the end of the Finish. Not bad but not great.

Nicely true to style, which is rare outside belgium. It’s a good beer that is nicely fermented and has a bit of alcoholic bite to it. Hopcult dresden

Boozy, rich, not the best for the style. But overall a very dry, bitter, probably coffee beaned beer. Hopcult dresden

Bottle (bottled 02/18): Literally black, no head to speak of, sweet and alcoholic nose of toasted malt and coffee; full bodied, sticky, solid bitter-sweet flavour; caramel and port-vinous illusions in the solid bitter-sweet finish. Drinkable, but lacks complexity...
