Description
Weyerbacher Brewing was founded in 1995 in a livery stable located in downtown Easton, Pennsylvania. Eventually outgrowing that small space, we made the move to the 30,000 square foot facility that we still call home today.

Since the beginning, we have established a reputation for making big, full-flavored, high quality brews. While predominantly known for Belgian-style brews including Merry Monks and QUAD, we have an extensive barrel aging program which produces fan favorites including Insanity and Riserva. In recent years, we’ve dipped our toes into IPAs and other lower ABV styles with great success.

Experimenting with different ingredients and brewing techniques, our brewers continue to stretch their creative minds and develop interesting and mind blowing beers that will satisfy your taste for the extraordinary.

Really good. Dangerous at 9% lager, the kind of lager I'm looking for.

Bottle. A- Alcohol, chocolate, dates, figs, malty, burnt sugar. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, no head. T- Soy sauce, booze, cocoa, dates, figs, mild tobacco, mild leather. P- Full body, average texture, flat carbonation, boozy finish. O- Assuming this is about 6 years old? Rather boozy although a fair amount of flavors going. Unlike any weizenbock I've had. Still trying to decide just how much or how little I liked this.

Bottle from whenever, stored properly and allowed to breathe for an hour. Smooth palate, slightly 3, modest fine carbonation. Malts are creamy sweet with a nice light and well integrated smoke. Little tangy dark chocolate. Some dark fruits and a mild spicy alcohol finish. Not showing its age to any degree and a good smoke ale.

Can thanks to Kyle. Pours black with small beige head. The aroma is strong roast, dark chocolate, spice. Slick body, roast, cocoa, light booze, very good.

Pitch black colour. Harmonious Stout, that is not very sweet and deceptively hides the alcohol, and adds layers of cinnamon and coffee on top, just a hint of green peppers.
I like sweeter Imperial Stouts, but this one is very well done too.

Another of those beers I know I've had but must not have rated. This one's from Total Wine Short Pump. Bottle. Pours slightly hazy brown with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet caramel, raisin. Flavor is sweet caramel, alcohol, spice, brown grasses, chocolate, glue, more spice. Perhaps too sweet, but good flavors in there.
