From the bottle. Brown with a frothy, light beige head that lingers. Aroma is peppery and quite herbal. Taste is bitter, earthy, full of tea, thyme and pepper. A softer, sweeter caramel undertone rounds it out. Body is medium, carbonation is mild. It’s interesting, that’s for sure.

Kehrwieder & Uerige Jrön, Fläschchen per Post von der Bierothek, Bamberg. - Dunkel kupferrot, leicht trüb. - In der Nase betörender Duft von frischem, sehr elegant zitrusfruchtigem Hopfen vor röstigem Toastmalz mit der typischen obergärigen Altbier-Note. - Antrunk kernig röstmalzig mit frischer zitrusfruchtig-harziger Hopfenherbe, viel Grapefruitbittere und der Uerige-typisch verhaltenen, leicht trockenen obergärigen Fruchtigkeit. Anklänge an Torf, Leder und Erde. Dezente karamellige Restsüße. Milder rezent. Im Abgang runde, aromatisch krautig-harzige Hopfenherbe. - Hochinteressantes Bier, in dem „grüne“ Hopfen- und „rote“ Altbieraromen sich aneinander reiben. Schmeckt mit jedem Schluck besser.
