Bottle shared in Hammel with the in-laws - dark brown verging black with a tiny off white head. Dark weak malty with some subdued coffee and cocoa notes, touch of brown sugar, some burnt malty notes, thin body, vague dark malty watery finish.

Bottle shared in Hammel with the in-laws - pours a clear golden colour with almost no head. Grainy and grassy twiggy subdued hoppy, corn sweetness, papary cardboard like, notes of rotten veg, light watery body, not many redeeming features here. --- Beer merged from original tick of Grumpy Santa on 26 Mar 2025 at 07:36 - Score: 3

Bottle “thanks” :) to Niller and shared with the in-laws - pours a clear golden colour with hardly any head. Rough abrasive and overt sweet with notes of rotten veg, harsh rough mouthfeel, eggy plastic notes, flat as a pancake, total drain pour.

500 ml bottle, batch #428, from British Corner Shop. ABV is 4.5%. Clear deep golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts, toffee and chilli. The flavour is by first sip slightly sweet and innocent, but soon an insane chilli burn takes over and makes the beer nearly undrinkable. So, what's the point?

500 ml bottle, batch #428, from British Corner Shop. ABV is 4.5%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts and toffee, a hint of chilli. The flavour is first moderately malty, slightly citrussy and innocent, then a vehement chilli burn takes over, and lasts throgh the long aftertaste. Too much chilli.

500 ml bottle, batch #428, from British Corner Shop. Brewed for Cottage Delight by Staffordshire Brewery. ABV is 4.5%. Clear golden colour, large white head. Aroma of sweetish malts, toffee, caramel and chilli. The flavour is mid between dry and sweet, and has a surprisingly (for something called a \"MILD chilli beer\") fiery chilli burn throughout. Nice beer though.
