Draught at Tribaun, Innsbruck.
Dark copper-brown body, with a small, creamy, beige-pink head.
Aroma of blackcurrant, cocoa, dried fruits, some caramel, some smoke.
Taste follows this, with some more toast.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes medium sour, moderate roasty, a bit dry, fruity, a bit toasty.

Nice one. Interesting mix of sour fruit notes, roasty malt notes and some smoke. Very well hidden alcohol. Maybe not fully balanced, while really characterful stuff nonetheless.

Smoke, crabapple, meaty nose. Hazy amber, headless. Tart crabapple, wood, smoke. Medium body, easy carbonation. Nice blend of flavors that aren’t often found together. Juniper not apparent.

(Bottle) Hazy, golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Sourish, slightly smoky nose with notes of citrus, lemon, white bread, grass, some smoke and burning juniper twigs. Malty, slightly tart taste with citrus, lemon, unripe peaches, white bread, grass, coriander and a balanced smoke touch coming through in the finish. A light saltiness emerging after a while. Fairly low bitterness. Medium body, mainly dry, rounded mouthfeel. Fresh and interesting. Sourness, salt and smoke in good balance. Quite nice.

500ml bottle on 7th Sep 2016: Shrewsbury beer share meeting, cheers Mat for this interesting brew. Ruby hue to the body, wispy head. The whole beer had an old feel and a good vibe: I found raisins, plums and dates in both the nose and taste: enough flavours to hide the 10% ABV. Really enjoyed my 5th of the bottle.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Sep 16, courtesy of myself via Erzengel. Many thanks! Pours deep mahogany with a thin off-white head. Barley wine caramel on the nose. Taste is smooth, caramel, dark malts with a hidden underlying sourness. Quite a light body with some nutty old ale notes. Interesting.

WoW. A session able beer at “only” 10%. Great work. But dangerous.
Deep nutty color with a off white head. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and an average carbonation. Ok balance between sourness, acidity and sweetness. Mild smoked, toffee, dried fruits and some green apples.

3/IX/16 - 50cl bottle @ RBBSG V (Klaas' place) - BB: n/a (2016-996) Thanks to markoijelena for sharing the bottle!

Clear reddish brown beer, small creamy off-white to beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, malty, grains, caramel, cow fodder. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very sourish, lemony, pretty weird, some overripe fruits. Aftertaste: lemony, soft bitterness, dry sour, tannins, pretty acidic finish. Decent but not a big fan.

Taster at Erzbierschof (thanks to staff). As unusual as I was promised. Nose is mostly smoke with some fruit maybe coming through. Flavour is lots of smoke and lots of berries. Really different and very nice.
