2012 bottle. Poured brown tan. Roasted malts and fruits and a bit of spice. Not reminding me of American barley wines but that’s just fine

This beer is close to being great. I like everything about it, except that all the characteristics seem a bit neutered. Some nice sun-baked pale malts, dried citrus peel, pine, a little earth and British yeast. With the guardrails off this could be a stunner.

Hazy amber gold with a bubbly / frothy white head and a hoppy, light malt and soft citrusy aroma. A little fizzy, citrus bitterness and light biscuit malt nicely balanced with a dry bitter finish

Can from what I think is currently the most northerly Adnams Store in the World. This one in Holt. Golden with a small head. Nice Belgian style effort here with its wheat dominant and lingering, alongside a clear strength. Some fruity notes can be found but they are in the background.
