Fra fat på The Seven Stars i Carey Street: klar strågylden. Forfriskende eplesmak med litt søtlig avslutning. Fin leskedrikk her i sommervarmen 9.8.24.

beautiful appearance of dark brown to mahogany colour and half inch of creamy beige-ish dark ecru head; aroma of dark berries, dried sour cherry, prune, raisins, some dark chocolate, some nutty and rye bready notes; taste has the same notes with some fruity-apple peel notes; I like it

Cask at the Red Lion, Knowle, Solihull. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a somewhat light, malt, earthy, herbal, woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Can feom the Adnams shop in Holt poured into a tapered to the top large wine glass. Not much head, but a good colour and a rich hop nose. Dry bitterness, lots of hops and length in the mouth. My first sip brought the thought, so this is what is tastes like when a macro does craft, and I stick with it. To me this is a very good ESB and I quite like it. And this wine glass is a revelation.

Can. Bright clear gold beer, small but tidy white head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, the thinnest of sweetness. Fairly strong esters in the mid. Bubblegum and fruity esters. Some floral bitterness. Boxy citrus peel bitterness. Light dry crisp finish. Yeah, genuinely Belgian in most characteristics except drinkability.

Can. Clear gold beer, quite rich in colour but not a burnished gold. Decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Light but fairly bright Simcoe goodness, piney mandarin, very mild pineapple. Modest modern Mosaic candy fruits, modest blueberry. Not bad at all.

Cask at The Marquis in Covent Garden. Amber orange pour. Creamy white head leaves stellar lacing. Bready, earthy malt nose. Flavor is smooth, malty and delicious. My first proper pint in London. Some spicy hops von backend.

Cask at the Kenilworth. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light herbal hops and straw. Taste adds some lemon and bread. Clean finish. OK.
