Description

Drunk at the Augustiner Bräustuben. Huge lasting head on hazy yellow amber beer. Nice bananas nose with hints of spice. Really perfect creamy Munich Weissbier taste. So fresh and good on tap here!

This one is good, strong character, lot of malt and a strong taste of ginger bread, bread, good beer with a good meat and brown sauce, 14.04.2016, drinking it at Bonfol Jura, taking it in one Orterer Getränkmarkt in Munich, in may 2015 with my wife.

Bottle. Taste is a bit lacking, tastes just like another pale yellow lager to me. I can see why they export it - get it the hell out of germany.

Bottle brought back from Germany by my former friend the asshole denier Steve, 5/9/25. Thanks. Sad to lose a friendship Steve. Clear gold, medium fizzy white head. Aroma of strong floral and Noble hops, bready malt. Taste is bready malt, bright citrus, Noble hop. Crisp. Nice.

On a pleasant evening with Silke, Mom, Dad, Jacob and Raffaele at the Tattenbach Wirtshaus. Gold with a frothy, white head. Grainy aroma. A touch of metal. Mildly bitter the whole way through with undisguised booze at the end. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Simple. Crude. Disappointing.

0.5L bottle at Das Oberhaus in Passau, Germany. The pour is a clear yellow golden, with a foamy 1 ½ inch snowy white head. The aroma is soft cereal grain, floral hops and soft earth. The taste is a lighter Pilsner, fresh cereal grain with the floral hop and finishes with just a touch of mineral earth. The palate is light bodied, active carbonation and the earth mineral finish.

0.5L bottle at Das Oberhaus in Passau, Germany. The pour is clear golden with a lasting one inch pure white head. The aroma is cereal grain malt, perhaps a hint of corn and herbal yeast. The taste is a mix of the malt and Noble hops, with a bready, cereal, softly sweet malt balances with the herbal earthy yeast. The palate is light to medium bodied, active carbonation and a mineral, herbal finish. Solid Helles.
