Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso resta attratto dal frumento. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto velato. Il colore è giallo ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro non è invasivo. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è persistente. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, frumento, agrumi e banana.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per l'orzo. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata, permanendo in maniera apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Il tetto della bocca riconosce impressioni di miele, pane, un accenno di resinoso, erbaceo e agrumi.

Bottle at home. Aroma is sweet toasted malt, caramel, toffee, hint of liquorice, raisins, dried fruits. Flavour is rather sweet and cloying with a little bitterness in the finish. Body is medium. There’s a richness to it, but I’m sorry to say this is just way too heavily malty and sweet for me to enjoy.

0.5l bottle, huge thanks F&L! Well, this came with huge recommendations, won't lie - with Jonas and Stefan getting at least Fin hooked onto it, so let's see! Clear golden body, a shade or two lighter than expected. Lightly off white head, pretty big, though the retention was a bit low (no insta-disappearance either). Lean, dry taste, bit grainy, some tartness, citric. Vague honey somewhere in the background. No cardboard and cornflakes, yaaaay! Very much a decent take at the "style", as kinda expected from Augustiner!

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is grainy malt with straw, touch of hay and noble hops. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Simple but elegant Bavarian quality.

Аромат хороший, банановый, фруктовый немного пшеничный с оттенком дрожжей. Цвет лишь только слегка мутный, очень газирован, легкий осадок. Вкус к сожалению сильно портит обилие дрожжей. Также в оттенке бананы и пшеница. Послевкусие очень концентрированное из-за дрожжей. В целом облом. Дрожжи зло.

Bottle from Beer Merchants. Shocked I haven't rates this. It pours clear chestnut brown with a decent khaki head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, nutty, woody, brown bread, touch of toffee, coffee grounds, cacao nibs, cascara and toasty malts. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, brown bread, nutty, cacao nibs, coffee grounds, cascara, touch of ash, praline and earth with a drying, toasty finish. Medium body and average, foamy carbonation. Rounded and robust.

Аромат сильно дрожжевой, немного карамельки и патоки, с намеком на лакрицу и коричневый сахар, а также много хлеба а точнее хлебных квасных ноток. Вкус питкий, не сильно карбонизированный, прежде всего чувствуется коричневый сахар, сладкие нотки карамельного солода и даже цветочные нотки. Послевкусие весьма продолжительное, уже больше хлебных ноток и закваски дрожжевой. Ощущается легкая хмелевая составляющая, но очень лайтовая. В целом один из лучших двойных боков.
