Thanks! Sampled draft @ Hoppy Loft. Totally clear amber, almost no head. Nose is massively sweet oily caramel, sugar, lots of sweetness, candy. Taste is very sweet concentrated candy sugar, like an extremely sweet APA minus the hops, toffee, old people candy,… Body is all candy & sugar. Not a bad beer but very simple & bafflingly sweet.

Keg at Delirium Hoppy Loft. It pours jet black with a small, but sturdy tan head. The aroma is earthy, toasty, dark roast, woody, cocoa, chocolate cake and fruit cake. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, rich roast, cocoa, chocolate cake, sticky, oily, boozy, coffee cake, gateaux, chewy, spice, earth, leather and boozy finish. Medium - full body and fine carbonation. Pretty boosty and intense. Fun nonetheless.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, ash, light burnt, tart notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, dark malt, sweet malt, roasted, dusty. Backlog rating LCRBM/Bruxellensis 2006: Cloudy red amber, amber creamy golden head. Herbal, pine, spice. Nutty, light fruity base. Honeyish, spice, aromatic hop profile. Relatively light body. Bitter dry and light fruity finish.

Dark brown coloured body with a large tan had, about two centimetres tall and a lot of sediment at the bottom that is very dark brown. Aroma of alcohol, oak, vanilla, strong grain, more whiskey and a big dose of caramelised sugars - super pungent. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong oaky flavour with a large caramel and pungent alcohol throughout with a big deal of cedar and dry malts with sugars and alcohol at the very end. Aftertaste shows more of the oak and grain than anything else, with a very pungent flavour and whiskey flavour at the very end with a big oak and woodsy flavour with a lot of alcohol and grain at the very tail end. Overall, a quite pungent beer with a nice complexity and good dose of malts and sugars for the entire duration, which works well throughout. Good to try and perhaps worthwhile buying whenever you can find this, and I found it in middle America! I sampled this swingtop 33 cL bottle purchased from BeerTopia in Omaha, Nebraska on 01-October-2017 for US$6,99 sampled in my hotel room here in Omaha, Nebraska on 04-October-2017.

33cl bottle at City Blues, pours a hazy light yellow with some frothy, white head. Nose doesn't read IPA, its vinous, straw, some white pepper, yeast. Flavor doesn't have any rhubarb, there's light grist, yeast, pepper, straw, some lemon. Dry finish, but simple.

Draught @ Albion. Pours hazy pale yellow with small white foamy head, faint earthy aroma, low carbonation, mildly earthy taste, smooth body, medium finish. Smooth and easy to drink.

Bottle from Best One Bedford. Light yellow, cloudy. A tiny bit of white head. Candy sugar aroma with touches of fruit. Could be rhubarb, it's not exactly clear, but it's pleasant. Bitter chalky taste which has a bit of sweetness mid-sip before turning medicinal again. A touch vegetal in the finish. Very heavy carbonation in the mouthfeel. Not an amazing IPA but drinkable enough.

Bottle from Brewklopedia, Leicester. The top pops and... it's a gusher. Pours blonde and cloudy with a foamy white head. Slightly vegetal aroma with some sourdough and hay. Tastes better than it smells: sweet but not overly so, with light lemon and candy sugar notes leading to a slightly more bitter (and a touch medicinal) finish. Aftertaste is strange - I get honey and coconut - but it's not bad. Heavy carbonation. Pleasant enough.
