Bottle marked 344 on the back thanks to a trade with Ratman. Pours with a hazy golden-straw yellow hue with a medium-large sized white head that lasts and leaves great lace. Aromas are of floral, resiny and tropical fruit hop character, lots of citrus, medium bready, malt, and an earthy, funky, goaty brett character. Lots of horseblanket. Aromas remind me a bit of Prairie Ale’s ’Merica. Flavors are tart with big floral, citrus and tropical fruit notes. Bready, estery, passion fruit and citrus. Medium resin and grassy dry hop character. Fruity brett with mild phenolics. Grainy. Papaya. Strong carbonation, medium to low body, dry. Feels more warming than 6.7%.

2013 Spring release with a trade with ratman. Pours with a pretty murky yellow hued body with a medium sized white head that slowly fades and leaves decent lace. Aromas are of citrus and coriander. Big time tangerine, mild tropical fruit, black pepper, phenolics. Slightly vinous and waxy character. Hugely floral, low malt. Aromas smell like a less oaky, more citrusy Whiteout Wit. Flavors are malty, bready, massive citrus notes of tangerine/tangelo. Slight suntan lotion, coriander, lightly tart, black pepper, a touch earthy/rustic/funky. Very refreshing and drinkable, medium-low body, off dry, medium-low carbonation (could be a bit higher).

Bottle at Bruce’s, London. Big thanks to Jack for heading to the source! Pours hazy russet with a fast-fleeting bubbly head. Sweaty and funky malts in the nose, hints of wet bread, wood. Flavor is quite sour with lots of tangy fruits, some citrus, dry wood, funk, light yeast, some dryness. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Tart finish, pretty acidic, some woody dryness, tangy fruits. Nice beer overall.

Bottle at Bruce’s, London. Big thanks to the back of Bill’s car, and to Paul. Pours deep amber with a creamy, tan head. Nose suggests hefty sourness, some sweat and vinegar. Strong but balanced sourness in the flavor, moderate sweetness, some dried berries. Light bodied with fine to average, massaging carbonation. Clean finish, some dry berries, good fruity tang, light acidity, light funk. Really nice.

Bottle at Bruce’s, London. Massive thanks to Bill and to Paul for the transfer. Pours deep brown-red with a tight, tan cream head. Tangy fruits in the nose, some bread, wet wood, moderate funk, sweat. Light to medium sweet finish, some bitter earth, further tangy fruits, decent sourness, slight vinegar, dry wood. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Lip-puckering sour finish, some toasted bread, dark and ripe sour fruits, berries, wood. Very nice beer overall. Some boozy warmth, a bit of sour sting.
