GBBF Day 2. Rot box purchase by Dan the Man. Hazy gold amber beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Papery malts, thin caramel. Reasonable floral ripe orange Dry finish. Not a bad rotter but no comparison to the Ansell's that proceeded it.

Caramel slight toffee malts. Nice, lingers in the mouth, haven't had an xb since drinking it on cask in the 90s. I remember it being more unique. Still a nice beer though.

Cask at Old Trip, Notts. Aroma is sweet and vinegary. Darkest clear brown. Creamy beige head. Sugary. Malty. Sour fruit. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft. Long slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable easy drinking stuff.

Bottle thanks to the FiL. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of light malt, caramel, faintest citrus. Taste is more of the same. Watery finish.

Cask @ JDW The Crown Rivers, Heathrow. Pours a clear amber, off-white head. Supposed to taste of honey and blackcurrant. It doesn't. Dark caramel vibes, smooth aged malt. So-so.
