Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013, 10/08/13. Clear pale golden with a thin off white head. Nose is toasted malts, citrus, bitter orange, light tropical tones. Taste comprises orange pith, zesty citrus, hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish. Ok GB affair.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013, 10/08/13. Chinook & Cascade. Lightly hazed golden with a thin off white head. Nose is toasted malt, grass, orange sherbet. Taste carries more depth, orange pith, mineral notes, grass, light tropicals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with a smattering of hop bitterness. Decent.

From a keg at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’13, 10/08/13 - cheers mein hosts! Dark mahogony brown with a thin beige head. Nose is light roast malt, touch vegetal, toffee, lightly soured fruit. Taste comprises dark fruits, no sour notes, earthy, toffee, ash. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish. Ok drop.

I had this cask, gravity at Chris and Ruths, cheers to both of you for this, consumed Saturday 17th August 2013 Dark brown pour with no head,to be fair it was a week on from the big shindig so I guess it was getting a little tired, still this was still perfectly drinkable. Fruity and a little nutty, hops notable only by their complete absence. Touch sweet but with a good tang, tastes like a mild to me. Its not bad. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov13 3.1

Bottle (Chinook & Cascade) at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. It pours hazy golden with a small white head. The nose is orange, tangerine, mango, earth and sherbet. The taste is sherbet, bitter pine, straw, earth, lemon and grapefruit with a dry, lightly bitter finish. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. Tasty and easy drinking.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. It pours hazy golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is fresh floral, grape, peach grain and dough. The taste is crisp, dough, floral, nice bitterness, sweet grapefruit, lemon pith, and peach with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Crisp, smooth and well-balanced. Nice.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. It pours very dark brown with a small off-white head. The nose is roasty, earth, plum, date, dried cherry, pine and light smoke. The taste is roasted malt, earth, pine, cocoa, dried fruit and good bitterness with a dry, roasty finish. Light-medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Decent.

Taste comprises earthy hops, bitter roast, mineral tones, cocoa. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with light hop bitterness. Decent drop.
