Very slightly hazy relatively clear golden coloured body with a thin white head and quite a few bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of corn, light hops, grass, hay, some nice spicey yeast and a small touch of coriander seed freshness. Light-bodied; Sharp spice and metallic malt at first with a relatively potent shot of flavours behind with a lot of grass and hay in the mix. Aftertaste shows some lighter herbal notes, a little more malt and a very small amount of hops at the end. Overall, an okay beer - nice for the summer with a few subtle flavours, but a mostly refreshing beer. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liquor Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 08-May-2011 sampled at home in Washington (the current US capital - opposed to the Old capital of just New York state) on 04-June-2011.

Kind of like a creamy coffee. Some light cocoa. Not much sweetness at first though it peeks through a bit as it warms. Flavor not strong

Bottle. Pours black with a grayish brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma is full of sweet chocolate, with some oats and hints of caramel and sweet dark grains. Flavor starts sweet with milk chocolate and remains sweet throughout with a bit of oats backing. Extremely smooth throughout.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours copper with a smear of off-white/beige bubbles. Aromas of roast malt and floral hop. Med body. It is floral over roast caramel, finishing a touch perfumey. A good IPA.
