Maybe this shouldnt be labeled as an IPA because Im getting more of an amber ale or ESB look, aroma, and flavor here. Amber in color, aroma is of floral and citrus hops, some sweet malts, taste is pretty much the same, nothing really stands out. the malt is way too sweet to be enjoyable even as a session ale.

Bottle at the Funky 7, Brooklyn. Pours dark amber with a modest head. This is a big beer. Has an extremely sweet character, lots of caramel, bread, brown sugar, honey and toffee. Some hops in the backseat. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with mild warmth. Good stuff.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours clear gold with a white head. Mild aroma - might be citrus. Med body. Flavor has a strong component - like veg. There’s definitely citrus. Moderately bready. Whatever else it has, it does finish bitter. Can’t see drinking many of these.

Courtesy of coldbrewky, many thanks. Almost black color with huge beige head. Aroma of roasted coffee, cocoa, caramel. Taste, surprisingly sour with coffee notes. Sour finish. Overall I’m little bit disappointed.

12 oz bottle had with dinner @ Red Necks Bar –N- Que, Cooperstown, NY. Served in a pint glass. Very thin tan head, no lace. Nose is chocolate, roast and mild lactose. Flavor is good amounts of chocolate in front of the sip with light coffee and lactose sweetness on the back side. It’s a well-made sweet stout but nothing I would have to seek out again in a bottle. I would really love to try on tap. Overall still good flavor.

On tap at Brinkley’s NYC on 19th July 2011. Deep amber with thin foam ring and spot lacing. Cheesy, yeasty hoppy aroma. Thickly textured, rich and intense hoppiness in mouth, herby hempy notes and a citric grapefruit end that lingers quite satisfyingly. Thick mouthfeel.
