Another Carrefour find, this time served in the teku glass. This was a slow gusher and not so great looking, bizarre muddy gold?!?! Cool label of a cute woman and decent sub-2€ price. The aroma is bready, tomato-pesto spices, honey and unmalted wheat. Light bodied with a zesty mouthfeel. The taste is bready grainy sweet honey with a dab of fruitiness in the finish. This is a weak half-assed beer.

0.75 litre bottle: bought at De Bierboom, Brugge and shared between five at the Aug 2015 Shrewsbury bottle exchange evening. It was a gusher, so each glass had a huge rich tanned head on it’s swirling black beer. Nose of chocolate and tobacco, earthy and peaty. The taste followed the aroma closely ending with a dry finish. Good effort and plenty of flavour for such a weak ABV Belgian beer.

75cl Bottle from Prik&Tik Baelus. Hazy golden colour, fluffy white head. Aroma of grass, light pine, cat piss, floral, light malty. Flavour is light sweet, crackers, floral, muddy, sludge, yeast, some citrus, grass, firm bitterness underneath. Light bodied. Enjoyable at times, but the sludgy yeast flavour isn’t very nice. Get rid of that, and you have a fine pils.

Bottle shared at Rootz. Pours cloudy dull orange with particles and an off white head. Aroma of light peppery saison yeast, spice, coriander, caramel and malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a toffee finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation.

Bottle at Rootz. Pours dark brown with massive lively tan head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, overripe dark fruits and a touch of citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodies with way too high carbonation.

Bottled. Amber colour, small white fluffy head. Aroma is floral, wooden, fruity and some wooden notes with mild catpissy notes. Flavour is fruity, wooden, floral and mild earthy notes. Tasty, but a bit thin.

Bottled at pre-PBF, Vasa edition. Cloudy golden, rich coarse head. Citrusy cat pee aroma. Dry with light body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Slender with lots of citrusy hops. Distinct bitter finish.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. BB date 01.2014. ABV is 9%. Cloudy brown colour, plenty of sediment in the bottle. Moderate head, slightly off-white. Aroma of over-ripe red berries, malts and alcohol. Fruity and medium sweet flavour, balanced by decent hops (42 EBU).
