From tap at the brewpub in Bamberg 05.08.21. Clear mahogany amber. Fine beige head and lacing. Inviting and well-balanced aroma and taste of bonfire, smoked sausages, medium dark malt and noble hops. Sweet malt and noble hops are lingering on, with smoked sausages in the background. Good!

Flaska från Landbierparadis. Klar mörkt bärnstensfärgad vätska med lågt smutsvitt skum. Doft av rökta charkuterier. Mjuk och rund kropp. Rejält rökig men ändå ganska mjuk smakbild, medelsöt, bröd med bränd skorpa, chark, lätt beska. Djupa fina smaker. Mycket gott

Bottle at Zum Franziskaner. Hazy dark golden with a large white head. Mild smoke, light spices and some fruit. Kind of soft and easy to drink.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for sharing! Lots of peated smoke in the nose. The beer starts deep and slightly grainy. Intense deep grainy, not too much peat there. Hints of caramelly dry sweetness. Easy tod rink, soft with an intense heavy but fragile in one peated finish.
