From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours crisp gold, classic, with fine white foam. Aroma is grain and lemony. Body is relatively dense with quote some carbonation. The getting is the one of a full mouth. Taste is markedly sweet with some underlying bitterness. Finish is long and sweet, even too much.

330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours a lightly misty gold, good white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grapefruit, citrus. Taste does indeed veer towards the bitter side, with sweet malts, citrus and pithy grapefruit. Not bad.

Thank you for sharing German speaking RB Crew! Sampled 750 ml. bottle @ ZBF 2017. Tripel with whisky soaked wood chips aged in oak barrels if I remember correctly. Nose is faitnly medicinal, odd maybe the alcohol but largely sweet honey, vanilla, oak, low bourbon, sugar malt, bourbon tripel,... Medicinal note is unfortunate but otherwise nice. Taste is bit fizzy but other than the fizzy part, good oak, sugar, apple, honey, vanilla oak, sweet bourbon, oak, candy malt,... I like aged tripels, hope that they get some of the kinks out of this one, perfect & release a bigger batch.
