Bottle shared on Level 42 14/03/2017. Huge thanks to Kenny for this. A dark brown amber coloured pour with a loose dirty tan head. Aroma is sour granny Smith tangy apple, Cuvee, sour red brown, hint of vinegar. Flavour is composed of woody, stale, mouldy brown bread, apple, granny smith, mouldy. Palate is semi sweet, mouldy, Cuvee. Nice funk..

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - Clear golden pour with small ringed white head. Sweet fruity and wheaty, some citrus fruity accents of lemon and satsuma, some light citric spice and floral and wheaty and hoppy action into the finish.

Leighton’s 20K at his posh new gaff! Hazy amber beer, big fluffy pale tan head. Palate is airy and semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth and mellow dark malts. Lots of dark malt tang. Mild spice. Nice dessert wine fruits getting sourish. Airy finish. Two weeks later the same bottle tasted quite gueuzy!

Bottle at @42. It pours darkest brown with a small beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, fruity, tangy, juicy, fruit compote, Victoria sponge, candy, jammy action and candy. The taste is slick sweet, juicy, tangy, fruit compote, tangy, vinous, grape skin, sugary, boosty alcohol, slick, jam and candy with a dry, tangy finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Slick, tart and tangy. Pretty filthy and flavoursome.

F: huge, pale tanned, good retention. C: dark, opaque. A: malt, dark fruits, cocoa, chocolate, hint of coffee, brown sugar, hint of spicy. On tap @ Kulminator. The 2014 version, in a tall tullapy vase Buffalo glass, of course. Looks reallgood. A denseish beige big lasting and lacing head over a dark deep cola brown body. A nice woody sourish aroma initially. Some tones of butter also unfortunately. Dark dried fruit and a little lingon berries. Like it, despite that slightly off butter tone. It's near flat, only soft prickling on the carbonation and it feels nice oily in the mouth. Tastes quite nice. Woody and lots of dried dark fruits. Licorice and something almost herbal in the back. Chocolate brownie. It just works perfectly with the fiddle playing music here at Kulminator. Nice. 09.03.2017
