The aroma is very fruity. The color is amber but it has no head. The mouthfeel is soft. The flavor is malty with notes of black currant and apples. It ends on a slight sourness but not much bitterness - rather a dry fruityness. Not my kind of beer.

Orange-amber. Vague fruity aroma. Clean and resiny, fruity and rather sweet. Not as stable as other Bateman's beer. Bitter pine needle finish. Too clean to be really interesting.

A dark Yellow beer with no head. It has next to no aroma. The flavor is of a light average ale. An OK beer but nothing special.

Nut brown. Flowery nose. A bold ale with both feets steadily on the ground. Dry with salty, bitter finish. More or less defines the style strong bitter in my point of view.

Mahogany colour. Smooky, woody, ashy nose. Stable and malty with bold mouthfeel. Above medium body and slightly fruity. Salty, peaty finish.

An amber beer with very little head. It has a nice aroma of fruit and malt and the flavor is a nice rounded malt-taste with a good bitter lingering. A beer I''d like to have again.

Golden coloured with rich head. Has the unmistakable Bateman footprint (ie sweet, bold and malty). Dryish, bitter finish.
