Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear golden, rich creamy head. Interesting aroma with buttery grainy malt and grassy spicy hops. Medium sweet with dense rouned mouthfeel. The grainy malt combines well with pilsnerish hay-like hoppiness. Finishes with balanced but marked bitterness. A well made enjoyable beer along the line of Czech 14° lagers.

750 bottle that after4ever bought for us to share at the Uber Tavern in Seattle, Washington. Bottle #403. Pour is black with ruby highlights with no head to speak of. Aroma of sweet prunes, raisins and roasted coffee. Some grassy tobacco in there as well. Taste is the fruit sweetness and acidic tartness of the raisins. On top of those flavors is a sharp milk sour taste. The roasted coffee flavor exists throughout and is nicely balanced with the other flavors. Only minor present alcohol.

Bottle thanks to NoiZe. Dark colour, tan head. Aroma has coffee, bitter coffee, a bit salty. Flavour bitter coffee, dark chocolate and agressive bitter hops. Bitter flavours. Very sharp hoppy edge. Again another great Imperial Stout.

Bottle, thx to NoiZe. Black colour, tan head. Aroma has mainly aceton and phenoles. A bit of smoked wood. Taste has aceton, burned wood and whiskey malts and agressive hops as well. The strong aceton presence spoils everything. Not sure what’s going on in this beer, but I consider this experiment failed.

Bottled at Ølbaren, Copenhagen, thanks hildigöltur! Hazy deep amber, enormous head. Fruity pineapple aroma. Sweet and dense, yet lively and estery. Feels quite mild, thanks to the soft relaxed malt. The aromatic hops turn into lingering piney bitterness. The yeast chimes in with almonds and seville orange marmelade.
