Cask at the Peterborough Beer and Cider Festival 2024 with Grumbo and ITFCDan. Aroma is piney, fruity, grape, chocolate and citrus. Good body that really allowed the aroma to follow through. A very good example of a Black IPA.

Can from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aromas of light tropical fruit and light wort-iness. Taste is more of the same. Decent mouthfeel and finish for the strength.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear amber with good solid off-white head. Aroma is quite leafy and nutty with some toasted malt and mixed fruit. Taste again quite leafy with spice notes, toasted malt and fruit, quite drying in the finish. Nice light to medium body but slick. Its very good tasty stuff.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear amber with small white top. Bready aroma with flora, spice and stone fruity noted hops. Taste has that fruitiness but more notable is how spicy and bitter the hop profile is. Slight toastiness to the bready like malts as well. Quite a bold gold it must be told. I like it.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, online. Pours a glowing orange-gold with small white head, decent lasting top. Aroma is floral, grassy, light toffee malts, metal, hint of fruitiness. Taste of toffee, biscuit, metal, grass, light zestiness and stone fruits come through with a moderate bitter finish. Medium bodied, slightly oily and resinous. A bit mixed.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a dark brown with moderate sized beige head, nice retention. Aroma of light roast, coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is the same, quite dry, rich and yet a little thin in the mouthfeel. Quite nice but it left me wanting more for this beer.
