(Bottle 50 cl) Pitch black indeed with only a small head. Very malty character, not only roasted but burned malt - almost peat-like. Very drinkable, but it honestly reminds me more of a porter. 230201

Black with no head and very little carbonation. On the thin side for a stout and a little oily. Coffee and chocolate in the flavor with very light bitter hops. A good British style stout; decent flavor without a huge palate makes it drinkable.

Smallish white fine-bubbled head over dark mahogany body. Lovely sweet, smoky flowery aroma with hop notes. Taste is very like the smell, but with slightly more pronounced smokiness. The finish is nicely rounded, but mostly a simple fading. A very good ale; strong, interesting taste, yet easily drinkable. (0.5l bottle, self-poured in lager glass.)

Bottled. Dark amber colour, mediumsized beige bubbly head. Hops and fruit in aroma. Strong ryebreadish malty and hoppy flavour with hints of fruit. Long ryebreadish aftertaste. A bit mouthdrying.

Bottled. Hazy brown colour, yellow/beigeish creamy head. Bitterish cranberry aroma with some notes of alcohol. Sweet plum and raisins in flavour along with hints of alcohol. The alcohol fits in well though. Very pleasant.

Complex aroma and flavor. Aroma has red wine, malt, and smoke. The beer is near black with a touch of red as the description says. A small head remains on top. Flavor is complex and I taste something different with every sip. There is red wine, smoke, roast beef, dried fruit. Good.

Reddish-copper color, small tanned head, nice "creamy" lacing. Aroma has red currant, barley and hints of smoke. Quite ok for this low ABV: medium-bodied, woody flavor with fruity bitter hops - they linger in the aftertaste nicely.
