473 ml can. Pours an opaque white/yellow with light head. Aromas of pithy lemons, melons, weed, dull pine, and wheaty malts. Flavors are awful: soap, dirt, bitter lemon, bitter wheat, dry melons and dirty weed. Way off balance. Just bad. Not sure what the point is. Did anyone at the brewery sample this, or just sniff it? Drain pour.

473 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with full bubbly tan head. Aromas of soft roasted malts, chocolate, and cola. Flavors of nutty chocolate and roasted malts with a bit of sugar. A sweet but nice, modern Baltic Porter.

The base witicism, pours with a slight haze. Medium body, touch fruity, mild citrus notes. It’s okay, a bit sticky compared with the exemplars of the style.

Dark brown, with a thin bubbly head. The aroma is a bit of low grade bourbon, some vague chocolate. On the palate, some toffee notes, light caramel, vague vanilla, some hints of barrel, but again it's low grade stuff. I like this beer, but I always feel they leave something on the table not going for a richer malt character.

Sort of a mid-range DIPA, a touch gloppy on the malts. The hops are okay, but indistinct. Not their best work.

Gold. Deep pale malt along with melon, sauvin, royal jelly, and lowish bitterness. Could do more of the bitterness for better balance, but that's a really nice kiwi hop expression.

Dark brown. Nitro head, unfortunately. Not much aroma. There is some bitter chocolate and roast to it, but of course this is muted. I should have just bought a can, but the menu didn't say it was a nitro pour. If I had known, I wouldn't normally order the eunuch version of a stout.

Slight haze, medium head, quite pale. Soft body, slightly sweet. Hint of acidity from the wheat, mild banana. Well-balanced. Somehow I knew Beach House was going to do this style justice.

Dark brown, medium head. Toasty, slight molasses sugar note. Low bitterness but pulls in some of the complex dark malts you want in this style. Not full malt development...guessing not double decoction...but the bones of a good tmavy are here.

Pale amber, slight haze. Can’t say it looks much like a mild. Thin head. Light body, low bitterness and a slight toasty note. Slight acidity. Doesn’t really bring anything to the table.
