330ml can from Lidl Shrewsbury. Pours very dark, thin pale tan head. Aroma is liquorice, dark treacle, leather, dark malts, mirrored to taste, surprising combination of flavours when I expected a somewhat straightforward dark ale. Not sure it all joins up too well and a little weak bodied, but it's interesting.

330ml can; BBE Sep 19. Poured into my Gordon thistle shaped glass at home on 18th Oct 18. Black bodied, beige foaming top. Malty nose and taste, coffee and chocolate blending with over roasted molasses. The hop content hides away somewhat although there is a slight citrus note and a mild hop bitterness to go with the singed malty flavours.
