Description
Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project began on a shoestring budget in 2008. We exist to allow 20 year professional brewer Dann Paquette to make an honest living while giving his imagination free reign. We brew our beers in other people's breweries because we can't afford our own. We enjoy the up-at-dawn lifestyle and the freedom to brew beers of our own imagining. We brew all our beers ourselves: Dann brews and formulates, Martha mills in. We dream up our beers together, inspired by Europe, by history, and by BEER and all it can be. We are based in Somerville, but brew mostly in Westport, MA, hence the early mornings. Cheers!

Hazy golden with floaties. Lasting white head. Herbal aroma with a spicy touch and a bit of citrus. Dry and hoppy flavour. Nice to try something Belgian inspired American that’s dry and drinkable.

Fruity, yeast, spice, pepper, and sugary malts in the aroma. Medium body that is loaded with carbonation so it feels thinner. Flavor has a decent helping of fruity and lightly earthy hops, yeast, spice, peppery, overly sweet malt, too.

Super hazy golden coloured body with a thin white head and a rich, opaque raw honey like glow. Aroma of hay, grass, coriander seed, curacao, yeast and a touch of flowers. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive yeast, coriander seed, lemons, aniseed, grass and a very dry sprucey like quality with a lot of pungent flavours. Aftertaste is quite strong with a little sweetness, but mainly a grassy and very herbal finish showing a ton of flavours, all very complex. Overall, a nice saison - one that definitely doesn’t hide any flavours or tastes and constantly impresses with a wide array of tastes. A great beer and one that should definitely be sampled if you like belgies, saisons, biere de gardes or just good flavourful beers in general. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Wegman’s in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on 22-July-2011 sampled in Upstate New York on 09-August-2011.
