Clear dark brown beer, no head. Aroma: coffee, mocha, cocoa powder. MF: fuck, chillies man. Taste: chillies, aftertaste: chillies, this is pretty bad stuff. Talked to the brewer. He said it was like a joke, or something. Well, we had a laugh or two giving it to unsuspecting victims at the festival. :p

A glass courtesy of Nate - cheers mate! Quite a dark amber beer with a little white head. Smooth semi dry palate. Lovely citrus hops , good balance of grapefruit, orange and lemon. Finishes light and crisp with a fair bit of bitterness. Great citrus! This version I think dry hopped with Cascade or Centennial? Original rating 3.7.

On tap at the Brewpub. Had to ask the (very nice) barmaid to pull some of this through as the initial pour was clearly stale from sitting about in the pipes. Light haze on this gold beer. Tidy off white head. Smooth silky palate. A little creamy malt supports deep rich hops. Lovely orange marmalade citrus with lovely lemon and mango aspects. Sweet grass before a bitterish finish. Sumptuous and highly drinkable.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear gold beer. little white head. Slightly crisp palate. Nice hop this one! Bitterish grapefruit marmalade with a little orange. Livened up by some zesty lemon. Trace of peach. The malt is pale and slightly creamy and play a minor support role. Finishes smooth and semi dry. Minerally freshness and a decent bitter linger. Very refreshing clean tasting moreish beer.

Cask at Brew Wharf. It pours slightly hazy golden yellow, with a decent white head. The nose is floral, leaf, herbal, touch of sweet pear, grapefruit and spice. The taste is wood, resin, grass, leaf, herbal (esp. coriander), pepper and red grapefruit, with a bitter-dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. An interesting hop.
