Cask at Brew Wharf. It pours hazy amber, with a decent white head. The nose is toasted brown bread, spice and resin. The taste is resin, wood, rye, brown bread, toasted malt and oily hop, with a dry, roasted finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Nice.

(Cask at Brew Wharf, Southwark, London, 23 July 2011) Hazy golden colour amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Hoppy, fruity nose with grapefruit, pine needles and loads of very fresh hops. Like putting your head in a sack of hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with generous amounts of fresh hops, grapefruit, pine needles and slightly grainy malt. Medium body, with balanced sweetness and a fresh, generous bitterness. Quite impressive hop character. Very nice beer, and oh so drinkable.

On tap at Brew Wharf. Hazy gold beer with a little white head. Light semi dry palate. Nice fresh hops. Some grapefruit in the background but zingy tangy peach, mango and tangerine dominate. Finishes semi dry with a mildly bitter aftertaste. Really nice fruits in this one - I think this is my first real experience of the delights of Galaxy hops!

On keg at The Kernel. Hazy orange gold. Thin white head. Earthy tropical fruits. Its a bit earthy in the mouth. Quite easy to drink in mouth. Very decent fruity finish. Good beer. 3.4/5 At RBESG Pale gold slight haze lasting white head. Slight odd herby edge to the hop could be the sorachi or the super alpha whuch is a hop i dont know. Yes an odd flavour. Perhaps too much sorachi. Very dry finish 3.3/5

On tap at the Brew Pub. Clear amber beer, tidy off white head. Smooth palate, semi dry. Very mild carbonation. Light marmalade - mild bitterness. has soft edges. There is a sublte woodiness here but overall the barral aging seems to have smoothed things off more than impart loads of flavour. A sweeter orange comes to the fore before a semi dry biiter finish and aftertase. Nice drinkable IPA.
