Cask at Brew Wharf, courtesy of Angelo, thanks! Very nice pine and floral aroma. I was talking too much to take more detailed notes than that, sorry!

Hazy straw in colour with a loose cream head; aroma of citrus and wheat; a softy wheaty body with lots of pine resin and some citrus and honey in support; leading to sharp resinous hoppy finish. Slightly rough on the palate.

Cask at the Brew Wharf. Pitch black with a loose tan head - looking the perfect stout; aroma of deeply roasted malts and burnt sugar; surprisingly full bodied and very moreish; milky to start with some sweet berry fruits and coffee, then a forceful dry bitterness to finish with coffee grounds and burnt treacle. An excellent idea - shame that this costs the same as a 6% brew though.

Cask at Brew Wharf, direct from the cellar on 27th June 2011. Impenetrably black, vanishing head and no lacing. Coffee aroma. Liquid fruity with berries, smoke and coffee flavours. Very bitter aftertaste, on a smooth light textured mouthfeel.

Cask at Brew Wharf on 27th June 2011. Clear, light amber with white part lacing foam ring. Aroma is citric hoppy with a touch of honey. Main taste is fruity, hoppy and very bitter. A lingering robust hoppy bitterness in a very satisfying finish, with a richly textured mouthfeel on light carbonation. Easy drinking. For a 3% session ale this is packed with flavour, powerfully bitter and more-ish. Another "tasting" session ending up with a second pint. Excellent!
