Cask at the Brew Wharf. Pours a hazy amber wit a thick, oily cream head. Nice hop nose with light yeast, grass and toast. Good flavor, has some honey and tropical citrus, modest pine and some syrupy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Has dense lacing. Finishes sticky and slightly tangy, with some really leafy hops and caramel, bready malts. Good beer.

Cask handpull at Brew Wharf Borough. Clear pale chestnut only a few bubbles. Grapefruit sherbert aroma. Very decent hop. As an IPA brewed in the UK its very good. Really good ipa. Love the hops Steve.

Cask at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a bubbly, slight beige head. Aroma is rife with lactic sugars and lessere notes of chocolate. Flavor is decent, has a sharp, almost tangy sweetness with faint, roasty malts and little bitterness. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Finishes with an extreme, deeply charred wood flavor I can’t remember encountering before. Further tangy sugars and light baking cocoa. A nice beer.

Cask handpull at Brew Wharf. Abv was 4.5%. Hazy deep gold colour lasting beige cream head. Yes some sweet honey. Rather good I thought as I like honey beers on the whole. Some dryness on finish. Some orange fruit. I rather like the malt and cereal malts on this too. Tasty

Cask handpull at Brew Wharf. I had this down as Spiced Winter Brown Ale, but I guess it is the same as the description was the same on the pump clip and it wasn’t Noel anymore, More like early Feb. Deep chestnut colour with lasting near white head. Spices on the aroma. Bit too spicy for me to be honest and with the lowish ABV its a bit too spice led without the malts to carry it off. Brewed well mind. Just a bit too spice led for my palate.

(Cask at Brew Wharf, Southwark, London, 27 Nov 2010) Amber colour with brief, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with apricots, orange and honey. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, orange, hints of honey and a mild, floral bitterness in the finish. Medium body, fairly sweet. Somewhat like a fruit salad with a decent malt backbone. Quite enjoyable,
