Can from Seoul Plaza. Very dark colour, beige head. Dry roasty simple stout, similar to continental draught Guinness. Actually quite palatable, easy drinking.

From notes. Bottle at the Heineken brewery in St. Lucia. It’s a long story. Dark brown color, huge tan head that settles quickly. Aroma of milk chocolate, nuts, light ash. Taste is sweet cocoa. Light body. Very drinkable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Tom L. Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, stale coffee with milk, and a bit of cardboard. Sweet flavor with stale coffee with milk, and a roasty finish. Light-bodied.

Jug straight out of the cask @ Dyffryn Arms, Pontfaen, Wales. Mental. Rather light and thin taste of course, not a lot going on besides a mild sweetness. But worth it to experience in a timewarp place like this.

Two hand pulled cask pints in The Golden Lion, Boston, Lincolnshire on 6th June 2015. Really surprised to see I have never written about this beer before. Burton-on-Trent Classic. Tawny brown with a full head on both pints. Lovely blend of malt and hops mashed with water that does not have to be ’Burtonised’ . Light caramel biscuit aroma and taste, but more complex than that. Just a good beer.

275 ml bottle, bought in Barbados by a friend. Brewed in Trinidad & Tobago. ABV is 4.9%. Black colour, large tan head. Sweetish aroma of lactose and moderately roasted malts, hints of sweetened mild coffee, liquorice and chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium sweet flavour, notes of lactose, roasted malts and coffee, roasty and hoppy bitterness in the finish.

330ml can into glass. Pours pitch black with large coffee coloured head. Smells like milk chocolate and coffee. Tastes like iced coffee. Mouthfeel is medium and milky. With your eyes closed this IS iced coffee. Nice but weird.
