Bottle: Poured a clear light copper color Alt with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry caramel malt with light cereal notes is quite enticing. Taste is also a mix of dry caramel malt notes with some clean cereal notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Not bad for the style but missing some of the yeast signature associated to the style.

Bouteille 66cl partagée avec Tomaz. Merci à Asheft - Alex for the trade.

Pours a mildly hazy golden-orange colour with and off-white frothy head, good retention and lots of lacing. Beautiful aromas of grapefruits, caramel malts, tangerine and decent hops. Slick smooth mouthfeel heading over to a mild dry end. Again, some grapefruit in the taste with a little more zest, and some nice caramel background. A little more on the sweeter, fruity side then grassiness. Very easy to drink the whole bottle.

22oz bomber gifted by fiulijn. Bottle dated 6.23.14, so almost 2 years old. Love the label art. Pop the cap and foam slowly rises up the neck. Poured into St. Louis flute glass. As expected, the head is strong and voluminous. Very hazy pale color. Aroma has light coriander, light fruit ester. A little sweet and a little herbal-citrus. Flavor is again a very fine blend of ester and citric herbal character. Not tart but light with a fuller body. Finishes light. I’ve been drinking a lot of Gose in the New World in the past few years and this is one of the more superior ones. The average is way low, damn Canadians.

15-Oct-2016. Bottle 650ml from Denman liquor store. Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is herbal with... canabis (shock!) notes.

Taste is very fresh with piney hops and herbal notes. Piney hops aftertaste. Good.
