330ml bottle, thanks to Grumbo. Pours red/brown with a off white head. Aromas & tastes of red fruits, caramel, toffee, spice, bread, earth, hops & malt. Medium body. Resinous moderate bitter finish. Outstanding

29/5/2023. Bottle courtesy of jybi many thanks my friend. Pours hazy/cloudy pale yellow gold with a small bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, orange, pineapple, papaya, blossom, vanilla wafer, light earthy herbal notes. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, and a slight sharp tart edge. Moderate body, a little watery, gently prickly carbonation. Easy drinker.

Essai intéressant des brasseurs du lagon avec cette Kranke'N, Hazy Pale qui présente des arômes appréciables sur une complexité très honorable. Sur l'intensité et la vivacité, cela reste quelque peu décevant cependant. Mention peut mieux faire donc pour une bière qui passe facilement par chaleur. Le visuel est sur un blond jaune trouble (EBC de 8) avec une fine effervescence moyennement soutenue et une mousse blanche couvrant à peine la surface. Le nez est très appréciable, herbacé et fruité (agrumes, ananas, mangue) avec une bonne intensité et complexité. A la dégustation, le contraste est saisissant avec une intensité et une présence en bouche qui baissent largement. Il n'y a que l'attaque qui fait réellement bonne figure avec une bonne vivacité, mais à compter de la seconde bouche, l'ensemble devient plus poussif et molasson avec un alcool, à 4,8 qui présente largement ses limites. Aromatiquement, la bière reste agréable avec toutefois des arômes herbacés qui sont un peu trop poussés. De bonnes intentions mais perfectible sur la réalisation.

24/9/2022. Bottle courtesy of my New Caledonia beer supplier Jean-Baptiste. Pours slightly hazy amber brown with a lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, biscuit, toffee, fruits, slight chalky edge. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Just a little harsh edge to finish, but it's enjoyable old school goodness.

24/9/2022. Bottle courtesy of my New Caledonia beer supplier Jean-Baptiste. Bit of a gush on opening. Pours hazy pale golden with a large frothy white head. Aroma is subtle lemon, straw, vanilla, flowers, light caramel, touch of herb. Fairly sweet with noticeable caramel, and low bitterness but worked very nicely, alongside just a slight tart edge. Very smooth, moderate body and carbonation. Really worked for me.

17/9/2022. Bottle at the Malilla GP beer share. From Jean-Baptiste, merci beaucoup! Pours clear very dark maroon brown with a large frothy beige head. Aroma is sweet, very oaty, chocolate, light roasted malt, coffee, caramel. Medium plus sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Moderate body, slightly creamy, quite fizzy. Enjoyable, would have been even better with less carbonation.
