July 2021: Old rate mostly still reflective. Slight lapse in brightness & the middle might be starting to fall out. 4.0 May 2020: Bottle direct from the web shop. Tulip @ home. Clear, filtered, dark gold & still. Smells of sharp apples, maceration, light vanilla & a very faint sourness. Sharp & very tannic. Lingering bitterness, gum, cherry pith, lemon. Really bold, tacky feel, boozy(no abv listed), bite-y, good sipper. Very good.

On tap @ Cardiff Giant. Tall wine glass pour. Classic clear gold body. Smells of oak, aged apples & a light wet hay thing to it. Taste is invitingly bitter with tea-like tannins, rounded with macerated apple sweetness & a touch of lemon. Slight spritz despite the still label. Not too thin or sharp, with a drying finish. Always great ciders from Eve. Still trying to find an amazing one though.

Bottle from the cidery. Baby Duvel glass. Mood: Still jolly. Clear solid gold body with a hint of floaties. Smell is unexpectedly rich & macerated upfront, turning acidic. Big upfront acidic fruit, but only mildly bitter. Some sourness too, but backended by extreme stone fruit. Suggestively creamy at first, it is thin & sharp. Lingering skin & that tannic pith finally hit at the very end. Lightweight, but not lacking.

Bottle from the cidery. Fake 12oz pint glass, wide mouth. Light amber with a slight protein haze. Smells of stone fruit, saline & green melon. Sharp kiwi & apricot. Very fruity, very acidic. Not much meat. Crispy & drier then expected. Low heat, but hits after the fact. Big.

Bottle from the cidery. Pint glass pour. Bottles to spare. Clear honey amber body, white on gray head. Scent is very pithy & oaky with some perceived macerated sweetness. Crazy dry from the get go. Sizzling carbonation. Minerally, cherry pits, something floral like rose, some glue, popsicle stick finish. Really dry. Well done, but not my favorite. Never got the fascination with Kingston Black, but that naturally oaky character is great in blends.
