Bottled. A golden beer with a huge light orange head. The aroma is sweet with light fruity notes of peaches and oranges, as well as light notes of yeast. The flavor is sweet malty with quite a lot of spices - especially coriander and cloves, as well as notes of peaches and alcohol, leading to a dry spicy end, where the alcohol lingers around after it has given a slight burn to the palate.

Bottle: Coloured like honey, visible carbonation, absoloutely stable small creamy head; distinctive, fresh citrus-fruity nose with grainy traces and a touch of alcohol; bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; bitter-sweetish, a bit tart and citrus-fruity finish with a distinctive touch of brandy-like alcohol. Not unpleasant, could be a bit better rounden................

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dirty beige color gueuze with a big foamy white head with great retention. Aroma consists of light horse blanket, funky yeast and some light green apple. Taste is sour with a nice funky touch and with a low acidity level, which I did appreciate. Not as overly complex as some other gueuze producers or blenders out there but still very much enjoyable.

Massive white and foamy head covers a dingy, cloudy, brownish straw-colored body. Lots of suspended stuff swimming around, some of it quite large and it really does look like it’s swimming as the effervescence tosses it about. Aromas are of sour apple and wood, although the sourness is definitely the most prominent. Flavor is very sharp and sour, especially at first. Sour apples are definitely the most dominant flavor here, but there are some citrus flavors and a bit of a grassy quality, too. Really interesting, but not for everyone.

On tap at the Publick House in Boston - Pours ruby red with an ample head. There’s a very nice aroma of slightly sour cherries. The flavor is at once sweet and sour. There’s enough sugariness that you won’t pucker, but enough sour fruit flavors that you’re not overwhelmed with sweetness. There’s also some mild spice present. It’s good, it’s refreshing and interesting, and I really think it has a flavor that many would enjoy greatly, not just the major beer aficionados.
