Bottle from the Wine Cellar, Sanderstead. It pours cloudy deep amber with a medium off-white head. The nose is sweet, toasty, caramel, juicy, fudge, creamy, candy and spice. The taste is toasty, creamy, caramel, brown bread, earth, mild acidity, vanilla toffee and fudge with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty solid stuff.

Cask @ Sebright Arms, Bethnal Green E2. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy hoppy aroma. Dry spicy malty hoppy flavor. Has a fruity spicy hoppy bitter finish.

Bottle shared in London. Thanks to Paul. Pours hazy amber with a frothy white head. The nose has a bit of tangy fruits, suggestions of cinnamon, toffee. Medium sweet flavor with some candied sugars, tangerine, caramel, pale bread. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with dry bread, mellow alcohol, wood, grain, orange. Novel. Pretty tasty.

Bottle shared at Leightons pre Christmas tasting. Hazed reddy / orange coloured pour with a off white head. Aroma is sharp apple, nutty, some caramel, hint of musty. Flavour is composed of tart sharp apple, apricot, caramel, little saltiness on the tongue. Tart and sharp. Palate is spritz carbonation, sweet and sour. Not a fan of this on. Little metallic note as well.

Cask gravity at Platform pop-up bar, Croydon. It pours deep red-brown with a small bubbly beige head. The nose is sweet, dried fruits, raisin, fig, caramel, toasty, earth and warming spice in background. The taste is bitter-sweet, spicy, toffee, toasty brown bread, dried fruit, earth, leather, varnish and wood with a rather dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Perhaps a bit too dry on the finish. Fine festive fayre.

Bottle at an engagement do somewhere in New Addington. Brown pour with a light beige head. Aromas of toffee, caramel and dark fruit. Toffee malt angle in the flavour with a spot of raisin lingering in there too. Nice, easy going ale.

Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014, grand tasting 10/08/2014 Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell. Thanks to Paul. Aroma is really nice mango, pineapple, slight tart, wheaty grains.Clouded bright yellow coloured pour small white head. Flavour is tart lemon, grainy wheat, dough, apple and pithy mango fruit. Palate is light grainy, sour / tart and crisp in the finish. A bit of a surprise this one.

Bottle split at the Bottle shop during my 40th sheenans, thanks to the Croydon beer pimp for this fella, 11/10/14. Hazed golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is bitter lemon, dab of glue, spice, straw. Taste comprises spice, hint of ginger, lemon rind, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so - drinkable but not particularly well joined, needs work.

Bottle share for Colin’s 40th. Thanks to soapy for this one. Hazed cloudy yellow orange pour with a loose halo of white head. Aroma is grassy, lemon, straw, earthy notes. Flavour is sour lemon, straw, earthy. Palate is crisp, sharp lemon. OK

The taste is crisp, bitter-sweet, lemon, pepper, herbal, grassy, sherbet and soft fruits with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well rounded and pretty drinkable.
