Half pint, from cask at Mad Bishop and Bear. Clear amber coloured body. Bubbly ring to the rim of the surface. Fruity hops on the nose, fronted by grapefruit. Fresh fruity taste as well with mild spices to the grapefruit part. Dry ending with citrus peels. Oily palate. Likable (London 25.09.2014).

Cask at The Oval Tavern Croydon. It pours clear golden-amber with a small white head. The nose is earthy, oily, straw, hay, lemon and grapefruit. The taste is upfront big hit of bitterness, grapefruit, pithy lemon, oily, straw, sweet grain and a touch of pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty drinkable stuff. Not as flavoursome as some of the others in the series, but decent anyhow.

Cask at the Willow Walk (JDW), Victoria. A hazy pale amber pour with a loose white head; weak grapefruit aroma; grainy body with a diluted grapefruit taste; and a clean limey citrus finish. Satisfying.

Bottle@Craft Clerkenwell (RBESG 10/08/2014) - cloudy yellow pour with thin white head. Aroma and taste is sweet fruity and wheaty, great fresh and juicy mango on the palate, lovely drop.

Bottle from StarmoreBoss, Sheffield. Hazy, straw colour. Film of white head. Lemon and lime zest, with malt sweetness. Taste is off dry, with a bitterness in tow. Soft to flat carbonation. Decent amount of body. Finishes crisp bitter. Refreshing session beer, that I could chug down quite happily. Marked down a little though, because it was way overpriced!

Bottle shared during the RBESG London 2014 Sunday Tasting. Pours hazy yellow with minimal white head. Tart, spritzy and very clean, with nice tangy lemon notes. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly drying on the finish, tarty and lightly acidic, with further lemony fruits, whispers of mango. Nice juiciness. Lovely. Very refreshing and drinkable.

Bottle at RBESG ’14, day 4 not so grand tasting at Craft Clerko, 10/08/14 thanks to Paulo the Croydon beer pimp. Murked up orangeo, this beer wears no hat! Nose is tangy mango pulp, spice, citric peel, bread dough. Taste comprises light spice, touch of acidity, sticky mango goo, straw, tangerine. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough stuff, the mango and light spice works well, as for Hefe ? Not sure, the light tarteness at times and hint of acidity could shift it towards the sour/wild camp for me.
